Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process for composite profiles. We utilize continuous fiber as the major reinforcement in pultrusion process. Different resin systems are used to gain the final desired properties. The pultrusion process offers a very high degree of creative freedom. The process allows profiles to be manufactured with individual properties such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, or fire-retardant properties.

This is governed by three factors that can each be optimized in the pultrusion process:

• the desired fiber reinforcement
• the resin system
• and the mould that defines the profile cross-section.

Resin :

Unsaturated polyester resin - We offer wide range of pultrusion Resins based on Vinyl Ester, Isophthalic & Terephthalic, suitable for all kind of Pultrusion profiles. Our pultrusion resin has following properties:

• Excellent wetness
• Give high line speed
• Excellent mechanical strength
• Very good Gloss

The resins available for pultrusion are:

• IR – 506 : Vinyl ester-based resin
• IR – 206 : Isophthalic based resin
• IR-116/91/87 : Tera phthalic based resin
• IR-701 : Low profile additive
